Bleacher Power Unit Maintenance Tip

A Bleacher Power unit can get dirty and it’s very important to clean them regularly. Power Systems on Bleachers Need Regular Cleaning

Nick, one of our service techs, cleans the drive rollers of a bleacher power unit at Fennville High School on a recent repair and maintenance trip to that district.  Traction is important for the smooth operation of your motorized bleachers. The Bleacherpros at American Athletix, not only, manufacture these integral power units, we maintain them and will be happy to tell you what you needs to happen to keep your bleachers at peak performance.

Beware the dirty drive rollers because they slip and won’t let your power units fully open or close your bleachers. If you are having a problem getting your bleachers opened the last few inches or if they won’t close quite all the way, the problem might be solved with a little acetone and a scrubbing.

Call 888-399-4999 or email info@americanathletix.com.  Put “service” in the message box and we will get right back to you.

The inability to open bleachers with the touch of button is one of the worst things about old bleachers.  Everyone likes the warm rich feel of the wooden bleachers and their timeless classic look but everyone runs away when it is time to open the bleachers with backs instead of a button.  American Athletix helps avoid the cost of new bleachers by retrofitting the old bleachers with our custom built, cost saving, integral power drive units. We make the power units in-house, equipped with “Pit Stop” drive rollers making it easy to change tires if that time comes.

Call today and be prepared to be surprised at the ease and affordability of keeping the best of old bleachers while adding all the convenience of new bleachers.
